I'm in that era of life where my peace, mental health, and overall wellbeing come before everything else. I used to be a people pleaser and now I'm focused on making sure my life is what I want to be. If I have to leave a few people behind to get there I will with no regret.
I am a huge mental health advocate because I know what it's like to be at the bottom of a disorder and wonder how I'll ever make it out. I have a podcast, "The Borderline Space" where I specifically discuss borderline personality disorder in an attempt to bring awareness to the disorder as well as educate people on what it's like to live with it.
Slowly, but surely, I'm finding my passion for fitness again. Starting over is hard to do but taking it one day at a time helps. Fitness is an amazing outlet for all types of negative emotions. It helps with my mental health issues and, if I'm being honest, it's an ego boost to be able to lift heavy weight. I consider myself a baby powerlifter but one day, I'll be lifting with the big girls!
